Custom racking, designed by our expert in-house tooling department allows economical plating of complex part configurations and we welcome technically challenging parts.

We pride ourselves on being one of the first plating companies in Los Angeles to be Nadcap certified in 2001. This certifications enables us to work on parts for prime aviation companies such as Boeing, Honeywell, GE, Eaton, Parker, Whittaker/Meggitt, Airbus, Robinson, Textron, Goodrich, FedEx, Rolls-Royce, MD Helicopters, Moog, Schweizer, DCMA, and more, as well as commercial and medical companies.

history

• Microplate Company Inc. was founded in 1954 in its present location, performing various plating procedures, primarily thin dense chrome.
• Multichrome Company was started in 1962 on Tennessee Ave. in West Los Angeles, CA. The company was incorporated in 1966 and became Multichrome Company Inc.
• In 1994, Multichrome Company Inc. expanded and acquired the assets of Microplate Company Inc. The unified company is renamed Multichrome/Microplate Company, Inc.
• In 1999, Multichrome/Microplate moved its operations to its present address at 1013 West Hillcrest Blvd., Inglewood, CA.
• Since 2001, Multichrome/Microplate has been Nadcap certified for chemical processing (plating) and its aerospace quality system.
• Multichrome/Microplate has become one of the finest chrome plating companies in southern California and continually strives to fulfill the founder's legacy of committment to quality.
